“Create the best tools in the world” is my concept since the day I started designing products in the early 1980s, which is never changed. SPEEDY, EASY, and PRECISELY are three primary points that I always keep in my mind when designing the tools. All our tools are thoughtfully designed with high quality for everyone to create hairstyles easily.
I was always thinking that I would like to do many types of research in terms of beauty to create better styles, then I opened my first salon in Daikanyama, Tokyo in 1980. As the number of customers gradually increased, we could have some more salons in Tokyo.
When my salons were getting busier, I had started thinking about how I could satisfy a larger number of customers by maintaining the quality as it is. This is why I have started to create the products.
While I am working as a hairdresser at my salon, I started the development of hair cosmetics and salon tools. At present, Y.S.PARK Professional is a beauty manufacturer with 1000 assorted items supported by a large number of top stylists in the world.
I have been creating the products with my concept of creating the best tools in the world until today. I will keep creating the best beauty tools with this concept for all hairdressers wishing more customers to their salons.
Young Soo Park
Young Soo Park was born in Tokyo on 22nd December, 1952.
Young Soo Park was working as a stylist in London, Paris and Vancouver. He participated in many shows in France. He opened his own salon Y.S.PARK Co., Ltd. in Daikanyama, Tokyo in 1980. He worked for a show of Christian Dior, Tokyo Fashion Week and TV shows as a hairdresser and makeup artist. He received the title of the best hairdresser on “Courvoisier Book of The BEST” documented by Patrick Lichfield in 1986. He is developing various products including hair cosmetics and beauty tools since the establishment of Y.S.PARK Professional Inc. in 1987. He has expanded his vision to the educational field and actively engaged in seminars in many countries around the world.
